11x14” / 7/8" acrylic pour created in the fall of 2020. It explores combining acrylic pour with stencils. The base layer is a dirty pour mixing a kitchen sink of colors dominated by magenta and cadium red and orange. I then placed the zigzag stencil, first used in canvas 124, on the center of the canvas. Using a sponge dipped in pearlescent green I applied color to the exposed areas of the stencil. As a final step to further bring out the contrast of complimentary colors (red / green), I applied a 5 oz mixture of resin and hardener to the canvas.
