18x20" / 7/8" landscape, skyline abstraction created in December of 2021. Similar to canvas 185, it was inspired by a Sunset sail on Lake Michigan. Only this time, the scene is re-imagined at night amid a snow storm. The skyline silhouette is taken from canvas 97. Snow was simulated using Christmas tree spray on snow. Molding clay was used to create the texture of the water and moon. The piece is sealed with a heavy coating of gloss varnish.
