36x48" / 1.5" abstract canvas. This painting, born from the chaos of Hurricane Helene, captures the raw power and relentless fury of nature. As an artist living in Asheville, I poured my survival story into this piece, reflecting the storm's impact on our community and my own life. The repeated "HELENE" echoes the storm's unyielding presence, while the blue ridge mountain peeks symbolize resilience and the survival of our home, which was left untouched.
