11x14" / 7/8" abstract created in 2017. This is the first canvas in a three panel set. This set was created in memory of my father. After his death, one of the items I took from his office was a silver fountain pen, which I was never allowed to touch while growing up. I drizzled the ink from the pen on canvas to create the series. The application of gloss created the smear effect.
