18x20" / 7/8" painting created in the winter of 2019. This canvas marks my first attempt at re-creating an actual scene. I spent six months of my life staring at this Chicago parking lot, which was outside the window of my apartment. The lines created in the snow by tire tracks are the main focal point and inspired this attempt at realism.
