12x16" / 1" canvas created in January of 2020. This piece is an exploration of fauvism. It began by covering the canvas in fluorescent pink. I then painted a rooster using an unnatural palette of ultramarine blue, fluorescent green, nickel azo yellow, light ultramarine blue, quinacridone red and titan buff. The overall effect is eye catching creating the perfect accent piece.
