14x18" / 1.25" canvas created in January of 2020. This piece is an exploration of fauvism. It began by covering the canvas with Target lime green. I then painted a rooster using an unnatural palette of ultramarine blue, light magenta, quinacridone red, light ultramarine blue, cadium orange, hanse yellow and graphite gray. The overall effect is eye catching creating the perfect accent piece.
