11x14" / 7/8" abstract created in the spring of 2020. I prepared pouring mediums using fluorescent pink, light magenta, metallic gold, titanium white, fluorescent green. To each mixture I added several drops of liquid silicon. I layered the medium into a single cup and poured it onto the center of the canvas. I gently titled the canvas until the surface and edges were completely covered by the medium. Finally, I used a butane cooking torch to apply heat to the silicon causing it to react with the paint and create cells.
