18x20" / 1.25" acrylic pour abstract created in the fall of 2020. This piece uses a palette of pyrrole orange, titanium white, phthalo blue, fluorescent chartreuse, pyrrole red, nickel azo yellow, and silicon. It was born of emotion and exhaustion after a long day and several heated text with a friend. The shades of orange, nickel and red denote anger and confusion. The specks of blue represent sorrow, and the strains of fluorescent chartreuse are apprehension. As a final touch, silicon is used to create cells and ridges further distorting the interplay of color coded emotions.
